WHy do I do this to myself?

So I had to go and blab about how much I love my life and how great/super fantastic my kids are... ugh. They put me through the ringer today. It was all I could do to not put them out in the yard in the rain and shut the door and pretend that I don't have kids.

Why do they do this to us!? ha ha

  1. ha ha! I try not to be too specific about those sorts of things - it always jinxes me! :-) Don't worry - they are just trying to keep us on our toes, right?

  2. I wondered if you were in trouble when you wrote that! If you notice, I haven't mentioned anything on my blog about how bottle feeding is going for the same reason! hee hee

I'm sorry to hear that your day was a bad one. I did think that "pretend you have kids" thing sounded pretty good especially after my afternoon yesterday. Things in the Grant household are NOT so peachy right now either. Hey, maybe we'll all have a wonderful day today? We probably all need it! Here's to positive thoughts about a wonderfully, happy day with kids today : ) Good luck!

  6. Laura, yes it is. Yesterday was a great day. If only I could remember that the next day WILL (most likely) be better.

  7. Tomorrow never seems soon enough in the middle of a meltdown. Hoping you have a warm, tantrum-free weekend! Oh, my boys are good helpers with laundry too, especially empyting the hamper so they can climb into it. :)

  8. I'm thinking about printing out a wall length poster that reads,"This Too Shall Pass"....it has been my mantra since the princess was born...it applies to the good and the bad but I seem to only relish it when the bad is around =) Let me know if you would like a poster too =)
