We stand...

A picture (or two) is worth a thousand words... I had to put them up in these positions, but they can stay there on their own. Jason in particular enjoys playing like this.. Lily has other things she needs to accomplish in her day so it is short lived for her... they can just "fall" down when they are done and seem fine w/ it as well.. though I stay close while they are propped like this to catch them when I can. I'm on the hunt for a good toy for them to pull up on if anyone has advice! I've heard good things about the incrediblock by fisher price, but haven't been able to find a used one. :(

They are just so pleased w/ themselves. It's pretty cute!

So cute! they are going to cruising and walking before you know it. I don't have any recs. about things to pull up on, but maybe a learning table, or something?

They look great standing up! I agree with what Karen said above. Madelyn started with a learning table-- the Baby Einstein one which we found at one of our consignment sales. It worked great with the standing up and she loved playing with it. She also has a Little Tykes playhouse thing that was perfect for her pulling up. Found it at a consignment sale too. I'll try and send you a picture of it later if you want to see it.

They look so big and grown up when you stand them up like that! They'll be walking in no time!!

WOW! Watch out now, girl! They'll be loose in no time and you really will be pulling your hair out trying to be in 2 places at once. But, now I feel like a bad mommy. John Michael just had the couch to pull himself up with - or the edge of the playpen, all 20 min. he would stay in there. :)
    Too cute!!!

  5. Too cute! I agree with everyone else. You are going to be running in two different directions very soon. Cooper loved to pull up on our coffee table, and then he got a Baby Einstein Activity table, which he still plays with. It was a gift, but I would say it was worth the money.
